BoothMiltTony (Tim) An awesome first EP! For a first EP we have definitely some quality music here and I am very excited where this will go! I really like the style of melodic hardcore on here! Favorite track: Ropes.

Why do you need something to believe in? Why can't you see what they have made you believe to be real? How could a fake image of a higher presence That is nothing more than just an illusion ever guide you? The downfall of a higher ground, the absence of a nether world... Images we created fall apart [abolish / unskilled] to put the parts in place [construct / rebuild] every piece deserves its space [abolish / unskilled] long enough I've raised disgrace [construct / rebuild] Why do you need something to believe in, Where you could put all your hopes to let them rest? Why do you crave so hard for guidance? If only you could overcome what keeps you silent When any option given, oh, is to feed... It is to feed the tyrants [above you] To feel the need to take the lead To disagree, if you want to live free Relieve them, reform lands and leave them in further trance Before it's all far worse Go retrieve man beforehand and bleed for their furtherance Before we all are cursed, submersed, dispersed... To feel free at first, when seedlings burst Why do you need something to believe in, When you even can't believe in yourself? Why do you crave so hard for guidance, When any option given is to feed the tyrants? Oh is to feed, oh is to feed... It is to feed the tyrants [above you] To feel the need to take the lead To disagree, if you want to live free Solitude connected us. But as soon as we noticed, we got distracted by isolation. Put back into an innocent state, left alone, dissolving into essence... I can finally feel myself... Breathing again, being able to witness - The beauty of living, a beauty to strive The duty to fit in, a cruelty to life [I can breathe again] the beauty of living [I can see again] a beauty to strive [I can hear again] the duty to fit in [I can feel again] a cruelty to life [I can be again]

Ropes 03:56
We've witnessed every failure but never really tried to make a change Because fortune seemed so far away, just too far away to reach Forgotten documents tell stories we deleted from our history They still might store an answer... Give me a reason so that I'll make this place worth living Humanity is long gone, so do we still need to redeem ourselves? Because nothing is more human than the failure itself Treason, suppression and murder... it's all human... Reshape our imprints Symbiosis fails in egocentrics who strive for perfection Follow me into the dark and I'll show you all the hidden places of our minds And all the parts we deeply hide A thousand faces that I've come to know share one and the same expression If you don't like the mask just change it And as you hide behind your masquerade with your hands held on your back What do you expect me to see? Oh do you even want to be seen? And as the cuffs around my hands get tightened and the waters drown my breath I feel forced to be enlightened, to be held captive on this path I won't follow Put a rope around my neck, but make sure it is tight And strong enough to endure the disgust and hatred that I kept for you Put a rope around my neck One day I'll bring it back Weary... We're all too weary to escape the stasis We're all too weary, because it's easier to maintain this state Time is running faster than we are running away from time Unveil your stunning master and put him back in line We've witnessed every failure but never really tried to make a change Because fortune seemed so far away, just too far away to reach Follow me into the dark and I'll show you the light to release yourself from suppression [Follow me] you just need a little taste of fortune [Follow me] to put you back on track And it's all in your hands, the same hands that tie the ropes.
